Rodrigo Ungaro: born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela

I take pictures of what I see, of how I live. It’s my life through my eyes. What started as taking photos slowly became my purpose. I photograph what I live, what moves me, what feels real.

That way of seeing the world comes from how I live it. I’m a husband. I’m a father. Everything I do has my family at the center — the travels, the moments, the way I move through the world.

With time, my understanding of photography changed too.
I used to think it was only about making beautiful images. Now I see it as a way to shift perspective — and when perspective changes, action follows.

And maybe that matters more than ever. In today’s world, we tend to live a bit disconnected from nature, from beauty, from adventure. So I try to do something simple: remind people how beautiful the world and life still are.

Because photography, for me, isn’t separate from my life. It’s how I live it, how I remember it, and how I share it.

And when we see beauty, we care more. Helping people reconnect with the world is why I do what I do.
